Great ways to start a healthy lifestyle

Leading a healthy lifestyle is well sought after in today's society. Everyone from your next door neighbour to Victoria Beckham are obsessed with new ways to loose weight, stay healthy and look great.
Celebrities feel the need to look great 24/7 as they will get photographed and some may say that itt's part of their job. They have the money and time to have someone cook for food for them and have personal trainers to get there body looking great in a short pace of time. However people base their expectations on celebrity bodies and think it could be an over night process. The truth however is that most of us don't have weeks on end to spend in the gym at a time and visit when we can between work, children and family. Sometimes we don't even entertain the idea of the gym and scales as we are so run down from the daily  wear and tear of life.
If you'd love to be fit but don't have the time there are small things you can do to make large changes to your health.

Try to drink a pint of water within the first hour of waking up this will start your metabolism off for the day.

Having your food at regular times also helps to keep your metabolism in check. Regular intervals are great as you know exactly when to eat.

Only eat when you are hungry. Don't gorge on food when you really don't need them.

Don't eat when your upset. For example eating chocolate when feeling depressed is a common thing but do it too often and your body will associate  this feeling with chocolate and you will become emotionally attached to the chocolate also.

Don't think that skipping meals will help you to loose weight. It can cause headaches, faintness and lack of energy. This will also slow down your metabolism.

Having your five a day is not a myth your granny made up. Fruit and vegetables help to promote a great immune system, metabolism and high energy levels.

Your skin will look great if you drink 7-8 glasses of water a day. Your body will be hydrated and you will look instantly more awake.

Eat red meat which contains iron which will stop you becoming anaemic.

Giving some of these things a go will put you on the right track to start a healthy lifestyle.
